There’s so much to see and do in this beautiful part of the country. Most people come here for rafting and fishing on the Colorado River, but other great reasons to visit include seeing the Grand Canyon, just one mile away. Also just a few minutes away are Lee’s Ferry and the Navajo Bridge. The Marble Canyon Lodge is located near the last stop on most Colorado River rafting trips, so we are a great place to rest up after your exciting run on the rapids. Also nearby is the Navajo Bridge—the spot where US Highway 89A passes over the Colorado River and a great place to get some photos of the river. Our remote location is loaded with Native American history: just ask us—we love to talk about it!

Rafting and Fishing near the Marble Canyon Lodge

Anglers and rafters love this part of the country, where painted rock formations tower overhead creating a dramatic perspective on nature not often seen elsewhere. Not far from the Marble Canyon Lodge is one of the most popular points from which to fish or launch a raft: Lee’s Ferry.

Lee’s Ferry

A little more than 40 miles from the town of Page and downriver from the Glen Canyon Dam, you’ll find Lee’s Ferry. Many people consider Lee’s ferry, as well as Marble Canyon to be the very beginning of the Grand Canyon’s westernmost point. At Lee’s Ferry, you’ll find a ranger station, boat launch ramp, courtesy dock, fish cleaning station and upriver access to 15 miles of the Colorado River.

Before you head out for a day of fishing or rafting, be sure to stop by the Marble Canyon Trading Post for all the gear and comforts you need to enjoy a day on the water.
