Originally a trading post ran by (John) Lorenzo Hubble, the Marble Canyon Trading Post has a rich history. Known as “Don Lorenzo,” “Old Mexican,” or “Double Glasses,” Hubble was a distinguished leader in Navajo trade and a well-respected man in the Navajo community. Hubble ran more than 30 trading posts in New Mexico and Arizona. He was instrumental in helping to bridge the cultural gap between the Anglo and Native American communities.

When you visit the Marble Canyon Trading Post, history comes to life and you can catch a glimpse of a past that is gone but not forgotten.
